Wellness Classes and Workshops

  • Tai Chi for Elders - This ancient Chinese exercise is wonderful for relaxation and flexibility. Beginners and Advanced levels are offered.
  • Yoga and Gentle Yoga - Students may choose a conventional class with work on the mats or a special, gentle class where postures are done while seated.
  • Healthy Eating - Our registered dietitian/nutritionist presents classes devoted to
    teaching healthy food preparation and promotion of healthy eating habits.
  • Weights Class - This class uses light free weights and elastic bands to develop muscle strength and endurance.
  • Aerobics - This "high energy" class works to build cardiovascular fitness.
